It was a great news day for Ukraine’s fashion sphere: a Ukrainian model, Dasha Khlystun, was set to become the first Ukrainian to walk in a Victoria’s Secret show.

But celebrity news site perezhilton.com reports that she will not walk in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in Shanghai, China on November 28 due to having been denied the Chinese visa.

According to an Instagram user @vsmodelspain, Khlystun confirmed the news that she won’t be walking.

“Yes, it’s true,” the model wrote to them.

It has not yet been confirmed whether she was indeed denied a visa and what the reason behind such decision could be.
